This weekend travelled to London, I stayed at the Melia white house hotel which was just fabulous and had dinner at Shaka Zulu. The train ride to London was so long due to the snow but it was all worth it, below I have posted pictures of what I wore to dinner.

Aurora Fashion Research 'Night Out'

Hi Everyone

So I have not posted anything on the blog for a while ..been pretty busy with uni work and the fact that I only recently started blogging, I tend to forget to add things onto the blog.. Any who I have a 6 weeks break for Christmas so will try to get into the blogging spirit. lool

Today wanted to blog about a research and presentation we did for Aurora Fashions as part of Uni. For the guys who do not about Aurora Fashion, they own the 4 high end ladies retail brands in the UK. They Own Oasis, Warehouse and Coast, they used to own Karen Millen till recently. I have put pictures below , might be familiar to you guys.
 
For the presentation we had to find out what 18-25 year old defined as a night, what they wear and what they thought about Aurora's brands. The research was really fun, we got to go on nights out , to get primary research pictures. The girls and I went all out, presented the information back to the Aurora sales development scheme through a magazine and 2 sided mood board. We were all please with the end result and made sure we rehearsed before hand. The icing on the cake for us was getting the highest mark 82/100..WE SHOWED UP, SHOWED OFF AND SHOWED OUT ....Below are pictures of our mood board.

SALE SALE SALE

In the retail world mid season sales are seen as gloom for the company's performance. So I was intrigued to notice a number of UK high street retailers over the few past month introduce sales. Retailers such as River Island New look and many more, is this a bad sign of what’s yet to hit the fashion retail sector?

However with this in mind, as a consumer I saw the sales as answers to my prayers as I was able to stock up on my skirt collection, which will come in handy for my Job interviews in January. I bought three skirts from River Island which I think are bargain prices oh happy days.

This Skirt reminds me of what Kim.K would wear; it flatters my lower half, at only£12

Peplum is defiantly must have in a girls wardrobe, so was happy to find this only for £10.

Leggings = Trend gone bad..lool

The leggings trend has been left to go on for far too long, you can't walk down a high street or shopping mall without spotting a girl wearing leggings that bares everything out. I mean at least invest in great thick quality leggings that won't get you unwanted attention.

If at all you going to go for leggings try wearing a loose fitting top or something that cover up and maintains your dignity and keep it fashionably not trashy..
